Bella , Home at Last
Every now and then one of our pups really tug at the heart strings. Bella was one of those. She came into Foster in Aug 2024 and week after week we had no applications. A couple of potential adoptions fell through sadly. We all felt for this girl, she just didn't have any luck finding a forever home.
Fast forward to this year and the perfect family finally came along. We recently had a little update and her new family are smitten. Here is the update from them.
Bella is amazing. We love her dearly and I am truly obsessed.
She’s so incredibly intelligent, we have been doing clicker training and each time we do something new, she picks it up after a few tries. We introduced walking again this past weekend and it went well, not completely without incident but a massive improvement. We got her a new harness to support her on walks and give us a bit more comfort as it clips in at her neck, chest and behind her belly so she now looks like a bricklayer because it is fluorescent orange!
She is feeling more at home because there is less barking if the windows are open, it’s not completely gone. That said, we are following the schedule provided by Pawfect and she has adapted well. Though, It seems we left her off button at her Foster mums house as she is always wanting to play and we are happy to oblige.
We are in love, and I hope she also is coming to love us! We adopted Bella to help fill the lack of joy after losing our dogs. Mission complete!
